Tactical Medical - (1 Day)
This one-day course is taught by a medical doctor associated with SBSO Rescue and a Fire Department Paramedic/SWAT Team member to cover basic medical situations (life saving, gunshot, and traumatic injuries) until advanced life saving technicians can arrive on the scene. This course will enhance the performance of EMTs, First Responders, and on scene participants. The lessons are derived from paramedic street applications and lessons learned from U.S. Military Combat Operations. The instructors are recognized experts are and participants at the highest level of U.S. Military and civilian tactical emergency causality care.
This course is designed for the tactical operator, medical practitioner, or consciences citizen. This course will walk you through the most basic of tactical medical care concepts and will culminate with the student demonstrating proficiency in those skills. Whether you are a mom driving the car pool, a parent at your child's soccer game, hunter, or shooting enthusiast, you will benefit from learning these life saving medical skills. *

+ Life saving interventions- gunshot & traumatic injuries
+ Hemorrhage control (pressure dressings, hemostatic agents, & tourniquets)
+ Identifying injuries and proper treatment
