Advanced Pistol - Low Light & Night Shooting

The course teaches the student how to effectively and safely utilize a pistol or revolver. This class reinforces the General Handgun Course. Upon completion of the course, the student should be proficient with:

• Handling the gun
• Marksmanship
• Drawing from a holster in a tactical and rapid manner
• Malfunction drills (i.e., instinctively assessing and rapidly correcting problems with the handgun)
• Various firing positions and actions for each
• Shooting on the move
• Increasing target distances
• Running engagement courses
• Scenario shooting
• Action shooting
• Engaging multiple targets at conversational distances and beyond
• Mindset of situational awareness and mental conditioning as applied to handgun use

• 3 magazines or 1 speed loader
